Converting DMG to ISO
From PearPC
To start off with, you are in serious need of some tools.
(june 2009) You may try DMGConverter, which is far more simpler to use than UltraISO.
Another solution : UltraISO. You can easily obtain it from here
- Open UltraISO from the Start Menu.
- Click Tools and then Convert.
- In the next Dialog, browse for your Input Image Filename(s). If you have to, while browsing, make sure Files of type is selected as Mac Images (*.dmg).
- And of course, you can also use UltraISO to make ISO's of any CD's that you might've burned a DMG to and then later encountered a lot of CRC errors when trying to copy it everytime.
But UltraISO should be able to put all errors aside and sharply make ISO's even off CRC-errored CD's. That's how I got mine. And please note this short tutorial only applies to newbies and/or those that tried 366½.6735346567845210 billion ways of trying to get an ISO off a DMG.
UltraISO runs under Linux using the WINE Win32 emulation software. Another tool that can be used under Linux is the dmg2iso.pl Perl script. You can download that from here.
